Who Are We?
Our cattery is founded on a deep passion for ethical animal husbandry and a profound love for the animals we care for. Our journey began with a personal story of resilience and devotion: I was a foster fail to a wonderful Siberian Husky who brought endless joy to my life but was tragically lost to hemangiosarcoma (a rare and aggressive blood cancer). That experience taught me the importance of compassionate care, responsible breeding practices, and providing animals with the best possible start in life.
At our cattery, we are committed to raising healthy, socialized cats who thrive as loving companions. We focus on maintaining high standards of health, temperament, and well-being, ensuring that each kitten is cherished from birth and ready to bring joy to their future families. Our mission is to create lasting bonds between pets and people while honoring the principles of kindness, responsibility, and respect for every life in our care.
Meet Me
Amanda
Amanda is the owner of Wisteria Wildcats and is in charge of our location in the heart of Texas. Amanda has loved animals her entire life, ranging from the smallest critter to the largest exotic. Once introduced to Maine Coons, it didn’t take long for her to see a place where her passion for improving the pet/family relationship could bloom.
Amanda learned about feline health and starting an ethical cattery that will focus on health, temperament, structure and most importantly preserving the breed. With that being said, it is her mission to ensure the best quality Maine Coons a person could ask for.
So far Amanda has shown her cats with TICA where she is learning more about the standard as well as the best method to raising kittens to ensure quality on every animal. She hopes to produce beautiful lines.
